Responsibilities
Review and reconcile General Ledger accounts monthly, assist with day-to-day oversight of accounting processes and month-end closings
Compiling and presenting financial statements, reports, and budgets for management and stakeholders
Conducting internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with regulations like GAAP and IRS rules. Assist with external audits and provide information as needed
Analyzing financial data to provide insights, forecast future performance, and identify areas for cost savings or improved profitability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Extensive knowledge of Accounting Principles and GAAP
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Preferred
Knowledge of vendor rebate programs a plus but not required
Prior experience in wholesale distribution
