They are seeking a Senior Engineering Lead to be the first senior engineering hire and technical lead, responsible for owning software integrations and making technical product decisions in collaboration with the founders.

Owning business-critical software integrations
Making technical product decisions in close partnership with the founders
Co-own how our architecture, tooling, and engineering practices evolve as the company grows
Iterate rapidly with real customers as requirements evolve
Qualification
Required
5+ years building and shipping modern web products (our current stack includes NextJS, React, Tailwind, Postgres, and FastAPI)
Expertise leading and owning software integrations, both with public APIs (e.g. Google Maps) and private partner systems
Experience with product analytics and session replay tools (we use PostHog)
Experience implementing Figma designs with a strong eye for product quality and UX
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
High-agency and communicative. We're looking for a technical partner who thinks like an owner
Pragmatic. Passionate about code quality, yet comfortable with good enough
Ambitious and composed. You want to build something from zero to one and see it succeed in the real world
Team-focused. Building a startup is a team sport. We win and lose together
Preferred
experience with AWS services, such as Cloudfront, CDK, ECS, and S3, or the ability to own and scale cloud infrastructure end-to-end
