Director/ExecutiveThe Summersville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, community-focused Executive Director to serve as the Chamber’s primary administrative and operating officer. This role involves managing daily operations, membership services, and community engagement while serving as the public face and spokesperson of the Chamber.

Responsibilities
Build relationships with local businesses, elected officials, schools, nonprofits, and civic partners
Collaborate with the Board on strategic planning and implementation
Support member retention, attraction, and community development initiatives
Plan and execute Chamber and community events
Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the Board Treasurer
Manage marketing, communications, social media, website, and promotions
Oversee daily office operations
Prepare materials and reports and attend Board meetings
Qualification
Required
Experience in nonprofit management, business/economic development, marketing, or event planning
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Confident public speaker with community outreach experience
Understanding small business and rural community's needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, video-conferencing tools, and general office technology
Maintain a current, valid driver's license and vehicle
