Northeast Sales Manager

Grasselli SSI is a global leader in slicing and skinning technology within the protein manufacturing industry, and they are seeking a highly motivated Northeast Sales Manager to support continued growth across the protein processing industry. This role is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving new business, and representing Grasselli SSI’s portfolio of high-performance slicing and automation solutions throughout the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales and sales activities within the Northeast territory, focusing on protein processors and food manufacturing customers
Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
Represent Grasselli SSI’s slicing, portioning, and automation systems, including integrated production line solutions
Conduct on-site customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions
Collaborate with engineering, service, and application teams to develop customer-specific solutions
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and ROI-driven recommendations
Track sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM and internal reporting tools
Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer open houses as required

Required

Strong experience in sales, client relationship management, and business or product development
Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with CRM software and ability to analyze sales data
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region

Preferred

Knowledge and understanding of the protein manufacturing or food processing industry is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Meat or Food Science, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Plant production experience and management also considered
Experience in managing large accounts and a proven track record of sales results is a plus
