Business Development / Retirement Planning Professional

The Wealth Solutions Group, Inc. is a statewide retirement planning firm built on an education-first model. They are seeking a Business Development / Retirement Planning Professional to conduct discovery calls, Zoom meetings, and in-person consultations with workshop attendees and referred prospects, while effectively communicating retirement planning concepts and formulating strategies for clients.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the firm’s principal to conduct discovery calls, Zoom meetings, and in-person consultations with workshop attendees and referred prospects
You’ll effectively communicate retirement planning concepts to pre and post retirees, business owners and individuals associated with trade groups and associations
You’ll evaluate financial information and assist in formulating effective retirement planning strategies for clients
Responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant documentation and notes on each client’s file for compliance purposes
Travel is required within a 1-to-2-hour radius of the Cary office to support the educational workshops

Required

1-3 years experience in retirement planning, insurance sales or financial services where you had to self-generate your own business
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Comfortable in a consultative sales environment
Self-motivated and goal driven
Ability to work collaboratively while managing individual performance expectations
Bachelor's Degree
NC Life, Health, LTC, Medicare & Annuity Licensing

Preferred

Series 65 Licensing
