Responsibilities

Assess, negotiate, and resolve cases in the office
Resolve cases in court
Advises, trains, and discuss issues/solutions with other lawyers
Correspond with law enforcement and opposing counsel
Assist law enforcement as necessary
Review and maintain case files and discovery
Draft motions and legal filings
Extend plea offers
Prosecute General Session matters

Qualification

Juris DoctorateSouth Carolina Bar AdmissionCriminal law experienceTrial preparationWork ethics

Required

Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
South Carolina Bar Admission and Certification
Seven (7) years of criminal law experience
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with a safe driving record
