Responsibilities
Defines and influences long-term product vision based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy
Developer of technical outbound facing content such as blogs, videos, white papers, demo applications, and technical conference sessions
Evangelize Microsoft Postgres capabilities through internal and external channels to grow mindshare of the platform
Capturing customer, partner, and community feedback to help influence product development direction of AI and Developer features of Postgres on Azure
Collaborates across functions, teams and orgs on joint AI projects and initiatives. Ensures alignment between customers and internal stakeholders, and the goals and strategy of Microsoft
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Passion for writing and authoring thoughtful guidance with precise attention to detail to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across different channels and content types
Experience building popular Developer Tools
2+ year(s) experience in developing AI/ML models, and integrating these into applications
Proficient communications skills, critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
Love for engaging customers, listening, problem solving
