Associate, Asset Management & Acquisitions
V12 Investments is a commercial real estate investment platform focused on acquiring, improving, and operating industrial and flex assets across New England. The Associate will be involved in asset management and acquisitions, handling tenant communication, property performance monitoring, and financial reporting, while also supporting the firm's acquisition efforts.
Real Estate
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants across the portfolio
Manage tenant communication, requests, and issue resolution
Conduct on-site property visits as needed and prepare condition and compliance reporting
Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms, insurance requirements, and operating standards
Support lease renewals, amendments, extensions, and rent escalations
Help coordinate monthly property-level accounting and invoicing with Accounting Team
Track and analyze property financial performance
Assist with lender reporting, covenant compliance, and financing requests
Maintain rent rolls, performance dashboards, and internal financial models
Track CapEx budgets and timelines relative to underwriting
Coordinate contractor bids, scopes of work, and project execution
Oversee maintenance items, vendor scheduling, and follow-up
Maintain records for building systems, warranties, vendor contracts, and preventive maintenance
Support sourcing and scaling of the firm’s acquisitions pipeline
Assist with underwriting, lender communication, and due diligence
Participate in property tours and site visits for prospective acquisitions
Support post-close onboarding and execution of new business plans
Assist with market rent analysis, asset strategy, and disposition planning
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience in real estate asset management, property operations, acquisitions, CRE brokerage, construction coordination, or a related role
Strong financial literacy and comfort working with P&Ls, rent rolls, and operating budgets
Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with QuickBooks or similar platforms is a plus
Willingness to travel semi-regularly across RI, MA, NH, and ME
Access to a reliable personal vehicle
Self-starter mindset and comfort operating in a lean, high-accountability, often self-directed environment
Preferred
Experience with industrial or flex assets is helpful but not required
