Responsibilities
Diagnosis & Overhaul: Properly diagnose malfunctions and perform full overhauls on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Routine Service: Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of machinery
Repair: Replace damaged or worn parts and dismantle/reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and specialized tools
Testing: Test all equipment after repair or assembly to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications
Documentation: Maintain accurate service records per vehicle and ensure all DOT inspections for trucks and trailers remain current
Technical Reading: Interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide repairs
Qualification
Required
