Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for a Maintenance Department consisting of ~20 direct employees and ~60 embedded contractors
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and internal safety protocols
Drive equipment reliability and performance through the implementation of Arkema's Maintenance Operational Excellence program
Develop and manage the maintenance budget (~$17MM), track KPIs, and drive cost control strategies
Develop and execute comprehensive training and succession plans across all levels of the maintenance organization
Oversee maintenance shutdown planning and execution, ensuring efficient and safe turnaround operations
Champion the SMART (Arkema OPEX) and AIMS systems to support maintenance excellence and plant-wide alignment
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 15 years of experience in petrochemical or heavy industrial manufacturing
At least 7 years of experience in direct team and people management
Minimum 5 years in budget management, capital projects, and reliability planning
