Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief of Staff and senior leadership, providing guidance on the direction and management of the COC

Maintain 24/7 situational awareness of command operations—monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on mission activities in the Area of Responsibility (AOR)

Deliver rapid, accurate responses to leadership requests for operational updates

Recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and technology upgrades to strengthen COC operations

Consolidate and prepare operational briefings and briefing books for the Commander and senior staff

Manage key systems and tools including METL, DRRS, Automated Message Handling System, and TMT

Oversee the knowledge environment (SharePoint, file management, collaborative tools), ensuring operational data is tracked, stored, and accessible

Support the Crisis Action Team and assist the RFI Manager with high-priority requests

Track and manage RFIs and short-notice taskers on behalf of the Chief of Staff
