2+ years expMosaic Diagnostics is seeking a Business Analyst to review and analyze business operations for new IT applications or modifications. The role involves gathering business requirements, defining system design specifications, and managing projects related to IT initiatives.

Responsibilities
Identify and communicate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
Gather, review and analyze and industry data, including key performance metrics
Liaise between various business departments and groups
Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, UATs and operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create business requirements and project plan where appropriate
Shadows business SMEs to determine current processes in order to make certain that nothing is missed when designing and testing new code and automation configurations. Any questions will be delivered to the Business Contact and added to the project plan
Writes up the project's plan as a series of development steps. Reviews these steps with the IT Director to determine an estimated number of days to complete the project
Works across business functions to create priorities across all IT projects
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
Proven ability to drive projects and project teams to meet agreed upon timelines for project milestones and overall on-time project completion to meet business needs
Resourcefulness and creative problem solving skills
Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field from a four year college or university preferred
Two or more years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
Equivalent combination of education and related industry experience
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who have such experience in the Diagnostic Lab industry
