The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is dedicated to improving the health of New Yorkers. The Registration/Data Clerk will assist in clinic operations, ensuring timely services and accurate data management.

Responsibilities

Prepare letters for Clinicians to be delivered to patients who need to be contacted to return to the clinic for additional services and or treatments

Prepare Triage/intake cards for the next day and ensure that members of the public needing our sexual health services receive timely services

Assist with reviewing charts for errors by assisting in the QA and QI processes and thus ensuring that errors are limited. Ensure the quality of data collected and entered into our EMR is accurate

Train and observe employees and report progress to Clinic Manager

File patient's chart daily under current day

Required

High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or

Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' above
