Responsibilities
Perform administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging, and supplying materials, parts, and supplies
Prepare goods for shipment to distribution centers as needed
Complete required SAP training to obtain necessary system profiles
Order materials from outside vendors and offload vendor deliveries
Perform goods receipt transactions in SAP
Physically locate materials in the warehouse and accurately record locations in SAP
Perform bin-to-bin transfers and warehouse-to-production area moves
Hand-load carts, racks, and equipment and deliver to production areas
Run material staging and evaluate production schedules to determine material needs
Maintain required material levels in designated storage and production areas
Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
Prepare and package products for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges
Troubleshoot and resolve complex warehouse and material handling issues with minimal supervision
Support leads and supervisors as needed
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees or procedures
Support special projects as assigned
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), housekeeping, and safety policies
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years of warehouse/material handling experience, including at least 1 year of SAP experience
Forklift experience and Forklift Certification required
Previous experience using material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, shrink wrapper)
Valid driver's license required
Ability to maintain accurate records and logs, manually and electronically
Ability to work in a repetitive environment and stand for long periods of time
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred
Certification in Dangerous Goods (DG), including IATA, DOT DG, or IMDG
Extensive SAP knowledge
Experience with UPS or other shipping systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to frequent assignment changes
