Outside Sales Representative
Group CBS is seeking an Outside Sales Representative responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role requires a proactive individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to achieve sales targets within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Identify and research potential clients and leads within the assigned territory
Cold call, email, and use other methods to initiate contact with potential customers
Attend industry events and networking functions to build a strong pipeline of prospects
Conduct product/service presentations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits
Customize sales pitches to address the specific needs of each client
Provide accurate and detailed information about the company's products or services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Act as the main point of contact for clients and address any concerns or issues promptly
Regularly check in with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences
Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements
Work to overcome objections and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on customer preferences and market demands
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and closed deals
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and submit them to the regional sales manager
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales or a related field
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Strong Computer proficiency
Proficiency using e-mail, the internet, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
High school or equivalent GED certification
Preferred
Experience in electrical, power distribution industries
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
