Following the classroom Teacher's plans
Implementing positive discipline and guidance techniques
Fostering teacher-child relationships based on love and understanding
Ensuring an inclusive environment sensitive to diverse backgrounds and individual needs
Promptly reporting any suspected child abuse or neglect
Qualification
Required
At least a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Must meet all state (DCFS) qualification requirements for a licensed Child Care facility
Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team, volunteers, and parents
Commitment to attending 20 clock hours of in-service training annually
