Responsibilities
Architecting and scaling real-time backend services for continuous data ingestion and processing
Designing robust service APIs that connect modern platforms with legacy enterprise systems
Building streaming and batch pipelines that support AI/ML inference, enrichment, and automation
Owning distributed systems that operate under high throughput, low-latency constraints
Partnering closely with product and applied AI teams to ship production features fast
Improving reliability, observability, and performance across core services
Qualification
Required
Architecting and scaling real-time backend services for continuous data ingestion and processing
Designing robust service APIs that connect modern platforms with legacy enterprise systems
Building streaming and batch pipelines that support AI/ML inference, enrichment, and automation
Owning distributed systems that operate under high throughput, low-latency constraints

Java, Python, or Go
gRPC and RESTful APIs
Event-driven and asynchronous systems
PostgreSQL or MySQL
Streaming systems (Kafka, Pulsar, or Kinesis)
Caching and messaging (Redis, SQS, Pub/Sub)
AWS or GCP (cloud-native architectures)
Data pipelines supporting ML workflows
Feature generation and inference services
Experience integrating with LLMs, embeddings, or real-time scoring systems
Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
CI/CD and production monitoring
Preferred
Video, voice, or real-time communication systems (WebRTC, SIP, streaming media, call platforms)
Systems that process live events, sessions, or time-sensitive interactions
Platforms where reliability and latency directly impact user experience
