Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Utilize CAD software, including Civil 3D, to design detailed schematics and project site plans. Update designs based on manager, client, and reviewer’s feedback
Assist in conducting soil testing, percolation tests, groundwater monitoring, and other essential site measurements to establish soil parameters and project feasibility
Assist in investigation/analyzing data, maps, drawings, and other technical information
Assist in performing calculations and assessments related to project specifications and requirements
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to project status and results
Assist in the preparation and submittal of applications to corresponding federal, state and/or local agencies ensuring compliance related to project specifications and approval requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate system design and engineering solutions
Liaise with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders
Develop project management skills to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time

Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with exposure to and/or a strong interest in civil site/ land development planning and design
Exposure to AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications
Possess ability to analyze project needs and requirements to create appropriate site plan and design
Demonstrate ability to use logic and reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with teammates, clients, contractors, federal, state and local officials, and project stakeholders
Ability to travel locally as needed for client consultations, soil testing, on-site inspections, etc
High level of interpersonal skills, integrity, and motivation. Ability to be a self-starter
Possess professional attitude and appearance
Ability to be detail oriented, manage time efficiently, and be deadline driven is a must
Be a team player and work well within a team environment
Ability to carry and manipulate equipment up to and including 50lbs. related to soil testing and site measurements. Ability to conduct all types of soil testing with guidance
The ability to be a dependable and motivating team member, and to have fun in a fast-paced work environment is required!
Candidate must have a BS in Civil Engineering with exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with technical writing encouraged
