They are seeking a Trading Associate to participate in a comprehensive training program that includes basic training, trading in groups, long-term rotations, and managing individual portfolios, all while focusing on personal development and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities
Pass the Series 57 licensing exam within two months of your hire date and immediately start trading with firm capital
Learn market mechanics and option theory through classroom sessions and group discussions
Trade in a group environment, practicing both the art and science of trading
Master the use of all of PEAK6’s proprietary tools and technology
Communicate, learn from, and articulate your ideas and strategies to senior trading partners
Develop new, cutting-edge tools in collaboration with trading teams
Manage a portfolio and its risks
Test and analyze your own trading strategies in the market
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
Availability for an August 2026 start date
Ability to relocate to Chicago
Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
