Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to identify their wireless needs
Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits of Verizon devices and plans
Assist customers with POS (Point of Sale) transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Promote upselling of additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue
Supervise daily store activities, ensuring merchandising standards are maintained and shelves are stocked appropriately
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers both in person and over the phone
Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory control procedures
Provide clear explanations of billing, plans, and technical features in a professional manner
Handle customer inquiries efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
Support basic retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and promotions
Assist in training new team members on product features, sales techniques, and store policies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles within a grocery store or electronics environment
Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
Ability to perform product demos confidently while explaining technical features clearly
Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong communication skills
Experience in upselling products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for cashiering and transaction accuracy
Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
Preferred
Supervising experience preferred for leadership responsibilities within the store setting
Bilingual proficiency to communicate effectively with diverse customers
