Responsibilities

Develop large-scale scientific workflows

Uncover new ways to visually convey complex experimental and simulated data

Provide support to our scientists on existing workflows

Proactively identify areas for increasing automation to reduce inefficiencies

Develop scalable chemical databases

Automation of modeling, analysis, and visualization of simulations

Develop cheminformatics tools and algorithms

Required

4+ years work experience on a software team

2+ years full-stack experience on a deployed product

Proficiency in Python

Experience working in complex codebases and cloud-native architectures

Experience with modern JavaScript frontend stack (React, NextJS)

Demonstrated passion for visualization, especially graphs and other complex data structures

Experience developing client-side 3D visualization libraries

Ability to break apart existing code; solve ad hoc problems with little help

No task too big or small; strong sense of independence and ownership

Provide guidance and opinions on implementation, while having a willingness to compromise

BS in Computer Science, similar field of study or equivalent practical experience required

Preferred

Experience supporting large-scale scientific workflows/compute environments (desired)

Experience working on drug discovery projects (desired)

Container orchestration and Kubernetes cluster development (desired)

IAM policy development and automation (desired)
