Responsibilities
Design, build, and scale high-performance, reliable distributed systems
Ship features across the entire stack — frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
Lead or contribute directly to system architecture and software design
Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code
Build AI-powered, user-facing features using modern AI tools and APIs
Collaborate with product, design, and senior engineers to deliver features on schedule
Review code, debug complex issues, and optimize performance
Own projects end-to-end: development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C, C++, Golang, Java, Python
Strong experience with: Data structures, algorithms, and software design
APIs, databases, and web fundamentals
Experience shipping and maintaining production systems
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience working in collaborative, fast-moving engineering teams
Preferred
Designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production
Service-oriented architectures and cloud-native systems
Operating systems concepts: Threads, scheduling, synchronization, kernel-level programming
Database internals or database build experience
Networking fundamentals: Networking protocols, NIC architecture, or network acceleration (big plus)
Full-stack development experience
Exposure to AI tools, LLMs, vector databases, or third-party AI APIs
Startup or high-growth technology company experience
