They are seeking a DAS/CO Install Technician to support the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems and related tasks for a major airport project, working in teams and ensuring quality installations.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Install low-voltage coaxial cables
Perform rack and stack installations
Dress and label cables and equipment
Assist with fiber optic tasks such as pulling, terminating, testing, and splicing (preferred but not required)
Work with ½" coaxial cable and OEM equipment from vendors such as Corning, Commscope, SOLiD, ADRF, and others
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in cable installation (Coax, Fiber, low voltage)
Experience with ISP/Network cable construction, including: Rack and stack, Cable terminations, Testing of coaxial and fiber optic cables
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow
Client-facing communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills
Adaptability and eagerness to upskill
Preferred
Experience with PIM and sweep testing
Assist with fiber optic tasks such as pulling, terminating, testing, and splicing
