Responsibilities
Assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of the annual and quarterly external reporting processes
Performing accounting research with regards accounting and regulatory standards
Supporting auditors and ensuring compliance with SOX standards and requirements
Assisting with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including consolidating reporting information from global teams
Assisting in the implementation of new accounting standards and company policies
Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings, Proxy statements, statutory financial statements, earnings releases, earnings presentations, earnings call scripts, and investor conference materials
Preparing share-based compensation entries and reconciliation for month-end close and provide equity-related analysis
Assisting in the preparation of portions of the GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists
Assisting with timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including management, board of directors, auditors, and regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or advance degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of experience in public accounting - mid to larger sized firms preferred
Ability to research, understand and summarize technical accounting literature
Strong attention to detail as well as written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with auditing or working in and/or around SEC reporting requirements a plus
CPA preferred, but not required
