Responsibilities
Demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience in managing and implementing Azure components such as Azure API Management (APIM), Event Grids, Cosmos DB, IoT Gateway and ADX. This involves designing, deploying, and optimizing these components to ensure robust and scalable cloud solutions
Apply expert knowledge in Node.js, Angular and React for building and maintaining high-quality, efficient, and scalable code. This includes developing back-end components, connecting applications with other web services, and supporting front-end developers by integrating their work with the Node.js or Python application
Design and implement cloud-native architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This includes understanding and implementing best practices for cloud security, data storage solutions, and compute resources
Develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficiently integrated with other services and databases
Utilize Cosmos DB for scalable and performance-efficient data storage and management. Implement data modeling, indexing, and querying techniques for high-throughput applications. Leverage Azure's analytics tools for data analysis and insights
Work with Azure IoT Gateway for integrating and managing IoT devices and data streams. This includes developing solutions for real-time data processing, device management, and secure device-to-cloud communication
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of applications. Ensure best practices are followed for version control, code reviews, and automated testing
Regularly analyze and optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks, implementing optimizations, and conducting code reviews and testing
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, especially within the Azure ecosystem. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance product capabilities and improve performance
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. In lieu of formal education, we also consider equivalent professional experience as a valid qualification
Substantial professional experience in full-stack development, particularly with a focus on Azure cloud services. Experience in managing and implementing Azure components such as APIM, Event Grids, Cosmos DB, and IoT Gateway is essential
Expertise in Node.js, Angular or React are required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong grasp of both languages and their application in a cloud environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of overcoming complex technical challenges
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is crucial
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating collaboration and flexibility when working with cross-functional teams
A commitment to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and software development
Preferred
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable and can be a testament to the candidate's proficiency in Azure technologies
Experience in managing projects or leading development teams is a plus, demonstrating the ability to oversee projects from conception to completion
