Caltrans District 3 is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator who will work under the office of Employee Health Management to assist employees in returning to work after injuries or illnesses. The role involves engaging in the interactive process for reasonable accommodations and collaborating with various stakeholders to manage non-industrial disability and Workers' Compensation cases.

Responsibilities

Assist employees in returning to work by engaging in the interactive process via Reasonable Accommodations, Limited Term Light Duty Assignments, Temporary Modified Work Assignments, and Medical Personnel Actions
Work collaboratively with statewide stakeholders to assist with non-industrial disability, Workers’ Compensation, and the California Family Rights Act
Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment
Complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner, and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures unique to the correctional settings

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, include unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification
Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting
Submit to a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter
