ANALYST II
California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking an Analyst II to provide customer service and expertise on complex issues related to Classification and Pay. This role is responsible for addressing sensitive matters within the Human Resources department and contributing to innovative programs that support a diverse workforce.

Provides exceptional customer and expertise on a full range of the more complex and sensitive issues related to C&P
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, health care partners, and communities
Qualification
Required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications (MQ) will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If you are meeting MQ's with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification
Official transcripts may be required upon appointment
Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board
Applicants who completed their education outside of the US (with foreign degrees/transcripts) must obtain and submit verification of U.S. course/degree equivalency
Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting
When submitting supporting documents, PDF file format is preferred

Preferred
Knowledge of the State of California Civil Service laws, rules, policies, and procedures
Service oriented with the ability to remain flexible and adapt to rapid changes in priorities and work assignments while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think critically and research, interpret data and apply laws, rules, bargaining unit contracts, practices and principles as they apply to personnel management and human resources
Ability to clearly present complex and accurate information from thorough and complete analyses
Ability to develop and present decisions and facilitate discussions related to Classification and Pay topics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
