Foreign Degrees or Transcripts – Applicants with foreign degrees or transcripts who wish to apply that coursework toward meeting the minimum qualifications of the classification must provide a transcript evaluation that indicates the number of units to which his/her foreign coursework is equivalent

Preferred

Familiarity with the California regulatory development process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with public speaking, technical presentations, or creating educational materials
Ability to use Autocad or Revit drafting software
Experience and knowledge in hospital architecture design and construction, with expertise in California accessibility requirements
Familiarity with Title 24, including OSHPD requirements, as it relates to the construction of health facilities
Experience conducting research, producing and evaluating technical construction documentation
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team and handle stressful or sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
Ability to handle code enforcement issues with architects, engineers, and health care facility owners
Knowledge and experience as a project manager directing, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others
Ability to reason logically and creatively to resolve problems and develop and evaluate alternatives
