ANALYST I

Responsibilities
Responsible for varied analytical work related to the State's hearing process for a wide variety of programs, such as Medi-Cal, Cal-Fresh, Covered California, In-Home Support Services, etc
Works directly with claimants and authorized representatives (ARs) to file oral hearing requests via Virtual Contact Center (VCC)
Responsible for accurate data entry into the Appeal Case Management System (ACMS) and processing of incoming and outgoing calls
Receiving telephone calls from claimants or authorized representatives, initiating verbal hearing requests via ACMS, and referring customers to the appropriate county or responsible agencies
Includes access to various information systems that contain protected claimant information
Qualification
Required
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
A Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire must be submitted along with your application to be considered for this position
Candidates are required to complete the Questionnaire in addition to completing an Examination/Employment Application (STD 678)
You are required to complete employment history on the application form (STD 678)
Subject to fingerprinting and criminal record clearance by Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
If you are meeting minimum qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts for verification
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment
