They are seeking an IBM Mainframe Developer who will be involved with all facets of the software development process, including research, design, programming, testing, and implementation of computer software.

Responsibilities

MUST hit the qualifications below

MUST come onsite to Albany the first week for onboarding, 100% remote after -- travel is reimbursable

MUST sit on the EST/CST time zone

MUST not require sponsorship now or in the future

Software Developer - Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software

85+ months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education

60 months experience working COBOL programming on IBM z/OS mainframes. Experience should include monitoring production work including systems analysis and design, program, unit and integrated testing

48 months experience utilizing IBM JCL, and CICS

48 months experience working with IBM DB2

48 months experience monitoring production work and performing error diagnostic/debugging activities in a mainframe environment

36 months experience creating and maintaining documentation related to designing, programming, and testing in a mainframe environment

36 months experience performing system to system integration across heterogeneous platforms (such as Windows, Linux and AIX) utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture
