They are seeking a professional and organized Data Entry and Receiving Technician to efficiently manage the receipt and entry of samples into the LIMS, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of samples.

Responsibilities
Receipt and entry of samples into the LIMS with both efficiency and accuracy (ability to lift 30 lbs)
Extrapolation of seed quantities based on weight (basic math skills); properly use an analytical scale
Effective communication to ensure samples are processed in a timely manner
Customer correspondence via email and phone
Helping with shipping logistics incoming and outgoing
Document control for international shipments
Logging samples, scanning packing slips, and assigning appropriate tests to samples
Helping with visitors as needed, handle phone calls and/or take messages as needed
Keeping the receiving area neat and clean
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail for data entry and sample collection
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong written and verbal English
Ability to use Microsoft Office and email
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to provide a friendly interface to company/office for customers, internal departments, etc
Ability to lift 30 lbs
Basic math skills; properly use an analytical scale
