Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of of robust workflows that streamline deployment and optimize the operations of Microsoft Purview solutions across specialized clouds
Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, security professionals, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Optimize platform performance to handle vast amounts of data across diverse digital systems while ensuring scalability, availability, and security
Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results
Work on cloud-native technologies and distributed systems to build a robust, resilient, and secure platform
Continuously improve the platform by leveraging new technologies and best practices in security, data governance, and cloud infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
9+ years of experience building software systems, with a focus on large-scale, distributed platforms
Programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or C++
Experience guiding and mentoring engineers, driving their projects to completion
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Understanding of security principles and the challenges of securing large-scale systems
Experience working with high-scale, mission-critical SaaS products, including service operations
