Responsibilities
Own and drive the acoustic design and implementation for future Apple products
Bring innovative audio concepts to life, guiding them from initial ideation through to mass production
Optimize acoustic performance through simulation, prototyping, and validation
Work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver high-fidelity audio experiences
Qualification
Required
5+ years in an acoustics engineering role, preferably within the audio consumer electronics industry
BS/MS or equivalent, preferably specializing in acoustics
Strong communication and technical presentation skills in English
Preferred
A passion for audio and acoustics and a fundamental knowledge of acoustic theory
Experience in an acoustics engineering role: prototyping, producing, and shipping high-volume consumer electronics with overseas manufacturers
Proven success in the design, manufacturing, and failure analysis of audio systems
Experience with integration of speakers and microphones, including designing for water, dust, and chemical resistance
Practical knowledge of electrodynamic transducer design and MEMS
Proficiency in acoustic simulation tools, acoustic measurement tools, audio signal processing, and solid modeling
An eagerness to take on new challenges, learn new skills, and continually develop by staying open-minded & curious. Strong sense of personal ownership, with the ability to comprehensively handle tasks from start to finish independently
