Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal representation in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters
Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including, but not limited to, Motions, Claims, and Objections
Conduct thorough legal research and offer strategic legal advice to clients
Attend hearings, ensuring effective advocacy of clients
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver exceptional service to the firm’s clients
Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, Court staff, and Trustee
Qualification
Required
Currently admitted and in good standing to practice law in Virginia
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to produce a high-quality work product in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficiency with technology
Working knowledge of real estate, title, bankruptcy, and/or debt collection
Preferred
Demonstrated bankruptcy experience is preferred (including debtor or creditor representation)
Recent graduates who have completed a bankruptcy law course, or those with less than 3 years of associate experience bankruptcy practice, will be considered, and are encouraged to apply
