Responsibilities

Assisting Designers on all project goals through all design phases- from CAD drawings, presentations, through installation
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and address any issues promptly
Maintaining FF&E and Construction schedules, budgets, and design books
Able to source + coordinate finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, textiles, and window treatments
Assist the team in verifying accuracy of orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors
Assist the team with tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery of all items
Liaising with contractors, vendors, and receiving warehouses
Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Design Team
Client-friendly, team player, and work well in a collaborative setting
Proficient in reviewing shop drawings and drafting interior plans, elevations + details
Strong design sensibility and ability to source furnishings, lighting, and decor to suit budget and style

Required

2–4 years full-time experience at an architecture or interior design firm
Strong project management + consultant/contractor coordination
Experience with client + vendor relations
Knowledge of NYC design resources (hard materials, millwork, textiles, plumbing, lighting, hardware, etc.)
