Responsibilities
Work in M&A transactions including drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, operating and other agreements typical to these transactions
Entity formations and structuring
Commercial contract review and drafting
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Serve as a lead on projects while involving and supervising younger attorneys
Generate additional client relationships with the support of the Firm
Provide quality services with attention to detail
Qualification
Required
Texas attorney with 12+ years of experience in general business transactional law
Experience in M&A transactions including drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, operating and other agreements typical to these transactions
Experience in entity formations and structuring
Experience in commercial contract review and drafting
Self-starter
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to serve as a lead on projects while involving and supervising younger attorneys
Focused attention to detail
Commitment to providing quality services
Portable existing client relationships
Ability to generate additional client relationships with the support of the Firm
Willingness to work as part of a team
