Daksta is partnered with one of the largest builders in the United States, seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead scheduling efforts on Hyperscale Data Center projects. The role involves managing complex CPM schedules, supporting project managers, and ensuring compliance with scheduling procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced scheduling support to the assigned construction project, managing P6 schedules for large scale Data Center projects
Develop, maintain, and analyze complex CPM schedules typically exceeding 5,000 activities per project
Establish, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules in accordance with company standards and contract requirements
Support Project Managers and Superintendents in developing and maintaining baseline schedules
Prepare clear and concise schedule narratives communicating project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to support contract changes, claims, and schedule recovery efforts
Ensure compliance with company scheduling procedures and best practices
Train and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling procedures, CPM principles, and proper schedule maintenance
Deliver formal CPM scheduling training to company employees
Apply a foundational understanding of Lean Construction principles, including Pull Planning, to support collaborative planning efforts

Required

Minimum of 6 years of scheduling experience on large-scale ($100M+) construction projects
Expert in CPM scheduling with the ability to review and analyze schedules and changes to determine the impact on a project
Must have experience with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software including cost loading and resource loading capabilities
Must possess excellent computer skills
Experience working on the General Contractor side (candidates with only owners rep experience will not be a fit)
Demonstrated stability in employment, with limited job moves
Must be comfortable working full-time on site
Willing to Travel to either Dallas or Cedar Rapids, with some remote working each month

Preferred

Experience in preparing schedules for building projects and high-rise structures
Previous Data Center experience
