The University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business is inviting applications for two tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions in the Department of Finance. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research in top finance journals, and contributing to the academic community.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the teaching mission at the undergraduate and eventually at the MBA and/or Ph.D. levels
Research requirements include a strong and continuing record of publication in top-tier journals in the field of finance and an interest in working with other faculty members and graduate students on research projects

Required

Ph.D. degree in finance or a related field in hand (including August 2026 graduation) as of the starting date of employment
A commitment to a scholarly research record as evidenced by publications (or work toward publications) in top-tier journals in the field of finance
The ability to communicate effectively to audiences including faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students
Evidence of an established research agenda as evidenced by top-tier publications within the field of Finance
Evidence of service at the department, college, and discipline levels
The ability and desire to teach and/or develop programming in our graduate and executive education (GEE) programs, such as the Masters in Financial Economics, MBA, Executive MBA, Physicians Executive MBA, or Aerospace and Defense MBA
