Responsibilities
Develop construction documents including plans and details for building structures
Prepare calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures
Coordinate with architecture and other engineering disciplines
Interact with clients to discuss project requirements
Visit sites as necessary and prepare field reports
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years Structural Engineering experience
Proven experience desired designing structural systems for commercial, residential, industrial buildings, multi-family dwellings, daycare centers, and retail
Must have expertise in designing steel, wood frames, and concrete buildings
AutoCAD a MUST
Good written and Verbal skills for report preparation and client interaction
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural Design from an accredited school of Engineering
Preferred
PE License desired but NOT required (it would be beneficial if someone was on-track to get a license)
Familiarity with current IBC and ASCE 7 codes desired
Revit desired
