Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards
Manage logistics operations to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes, ensuring timely delivery of products
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to maintain optimal stock levels, reducing waste and minimizing shortages
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply chain operations
Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across all supply chain activities
Lead, motivate, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental and organizational goals
Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and production to forecast demand and plan accordingly
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement roles, preferably within the building materials or manufacturing industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in supply chain management software
