Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Surplus Property Associate to join the University of Kentucky Surplus Property team. In this position, you will ensure accurate documentation of surplus property check-ins and check-outs, maintain inventory, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in all auction prep needs and in GovDeals postings, including answering questions and confirming auction requirements are being met

Have up-to-date and working knowledge of all surplus policies and procedures

Check equipment daily for safety requirements

Complete daily spreadsheet of surplus intake

Ensure all documentation is filed properly and organized

Assist in training of other staff on surplus operations

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Perform other duties as assigned
