Sales Development Representative (NYC or Tampa)
StaffGreat.com is a software development startup seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representatives to drive lead generation and outbound prospecting. This role is ideal for early-career sales professionals who thrive in competitive environments and are excited to grow into an Account Executive role.
Responsibilities
Execute outbound prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, and social engagement to generate qualified leads
Qualify inbound leads to assess fit, interest level, and readiness to engage
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities, maintaining consistent follow-up and activity tracking
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and campaigns that convert prospects into opportunities
Develop deep knowledge of the company's product offerings, value propositions, and competitive landscape
Provide regular reporting on outreach activity, lead status, and pipeline performance
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within tech or software
Demonstrated track record of strong performance (e.g., beating quota, rapid promotions, competitive achievements)
Comfort with cold calling and outbound sales motions
Working knowledge of sales fundamentals, including CRM usage and ideal customer profiles (ICP)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Low-ego, high-ownership mindset with a strong team orientation
Clear desire to build a career in sales as an Account Executive
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools
Background in or appreciation for the restaurant or hospitality industry is a strong plus
