Project Lead - Data Governance & Audit
Infinitive is a data and AI consultancy that enables its clients to modernize, monetize and operationalize their data to create lasting and substantial value. They are seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive critical initiatives related to data governance, compliance, and strategic planning, focusing on project management support for a Data Audit and developing a Data Strategy and Capability Roadmap.

Responsibilities
Coordinate activities, organize deliverables, and manage supporting documentation for response to the upcoming Data Audit
Support robust issue management and help structure the overall response plan for audit findings
Drive and coordinate work across multiple stakeholder groups ensuring alignment and timely completion of dependencies
Develop and manage comprehensive project documentation, reporting, timelines, risk/issue tracking, and all audit-related materials
Translate ambiguous regulatory and business requirements into structured workstreams, actionable plans, and clear next steps for working teams
Partner with leadership to define and sequence the Data Strategy & Capability Roadmap, specifically focused on data use and governance
Identify and prioritize the key capabilities required in 2026 and subsequent years to meet long-term data governance objectives
Support the design and planning of updated data processes, control enhancements, and improved access governance frameworks across the Card ecosystem
Qualification
Required
7–12+ years of experience in program management, strategic consulting, governance, or regulatory-driven roles
Proven background in successfully managing complex, large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs with high visibility
Direct experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, compliance initiatives, or significant risk/governance work
Strong ability to operate independently, bring immediate structure to ambiguous requirements, and drive outcomes without heavy supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Preferred
Familiarity with regulated and sensitive data environments (e.g., FCRA, NPI, PCI)
Exposure to data governance, access management, or privacy-related controls
Experience within the financial services industry or a comparably large-scale, matrixed enterprise organization
