Responsibilities
Understanding the problem space in the AI market segment through market awareness, customer discovery and experimentation
Developing and maintaining a segment vision, crafting and evangelizing compelling narratives (“working backwards” stories), that align and inspires product, engineering, GTM and execs around a compelling value proposition for the target segment
Being a credible expert in the AI market segment to support and drive GTM efforts including crafting compelling narratives to drive sales plays, sales conversations with high-value opportunities through to conference presentations
Serving as an escalation and resolution point for critical priority calls within the AI market segment, whether that is individual strategic customer issue or broader prioritisation calls
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in product management experience, including experience with developer and focused products
Strong understanding of AI-related customer objectives and problems, market trends and key concepts
Excellent capability to facilitate and manage planning in demanding stakeholder environments
Excellent communication skills
Strong business acumen
Preferred
Understanding and experience with open source products such as those offered by Instaclustr (Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, Cadence, ClickHouse and PostgreSQL)
Technical understanding of key cloud architecture concepts
Bachelors Degree or higher is preferred
