Account Manager
TransPerfect is an industry leader in providing language and business support services, helping clients globalize their business. The Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships, managing clients, and developing new business through proactive outreach and support.
Translation & Localization
Responsibilities
Prospect and engage new clients through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
Build and manage a strong pipeline of business opportunities
Develop leads through research, referrals, trade shows, directories, and industry events
Close new business and expand existing client relationships by identifying upsell opportunities
Educate clients on TransPerfect’s services, processes, pricing, and value proposition
Negotiate rates and deadlines while ensuring client needs and profitability are met
Collaborate with production teams to deliver high-quality service and results
Maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-up and support
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and client needs
Contribute to the continuous improvement of outreach and business development strategies
Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
