Technical Advisor

Responsibilities

Provide technical clarification for customer inquiries related to quotes and orders involving machine upgrades, conversions, partial overhauls, and new machines
Conduct quality inspections of kits, conversions, and machines to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards
Support Account Administrators with order processing, purchasing, sales, and assembly activities
Collaborate with Körber Technologies to resolve customer inquiries and orders requiring technical clarification
Ensure timely and accurate responses to customers by minimizing turnaround time and executing orders in a technically correct manner
Maintain organized and accurate records of all technical clarifications related to inquiries and orders
Update and manage equipment history files for machines installed at customer sites
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs
Demonstrate flexibility to work occasional overtime when required to meet project deadlines, in accordance with company policy and applicable labor laws

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field required. Equivalent hands-on experience in a mechanical or industrial engineering environment may be considered
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical support, design, or engineering role
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical detail and assembly drawings in 2D and 3D, schematics, and specifications

Preferred

Prior experience with Körber Technologies products or similar automated/mechanical systems is a plus
Working knowledge of German preferred to support technical documentation and collaboration with global teams
