Business Development Executive (Engineering & Design Consulting)

The Business Development Executive will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build client relationships while driving strategic partnerships in the engineering and design sector.

Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients through LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, calls, and referrals
Write and send high-converting sales emails for outreach, follow-ups, and deal closure
Conduct discovery and qualification calls with decision-makers
Clearly present company services, expertise, and value proposition
Coordinate with technical teams to define scope, proposals, and pricing
Negotiate terms and close consulting deals, including mid-to-large contract values
Act as the primary point of contact for new US-based clients
Maintain professional, clear communication via email and video/calls
Handle objections, revisions, and contract discussions
Build long-term client relationships, especially with recurring or enterprise clients
Maintain accurate lead and deal tracking using CRM tools or spreadsheets
Share weekly performance reports (outreach, calls, proposals, closures)
Work toward monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Required

1–3+ years experience in sales or business development (B2B preferred)
Proven experience in sales email copywriting that has closed deals
Excellent written and spoken English
Confidence in client calls, negotiations, and follow-ups
Ability to work independently and deliver results
Strong understanding of consulting or project-based service

Preferred

Experience selling to US-based clients
Background in engineering, architecture, construction, or consulting services
Understanding of scope-based pricing and proposal selling
Experience with LinkedIn outbound sales and B2B email campaigns
Ability to close mid-to-large value deals

Benefits

8% – 10% commission per closed deal
No commission cap
Quarterly or annual performance bonuses
Salary and role review after 6 months based on results
