Responsibilities
Originate residential mortgage loans nationwide
Work remotely with borrowers, Realtors, and referral partners
Analyze borrower financials and recommend loan programs
Manage the loan process from application through closing
Collaborate with processors and underwriters to ensure timely closings
Maintain compliance with NMLS and lending regulations
Qualification
Required
Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license (required)
Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Loan Officer
Ability to work independently in a remote work-from-home environment
Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Multi-state licenses are a plus (not required)
Two or more years of experience in mortgage lending or a related role is preferred
Active NMLS license or eligibility to obtain one is preferred
Experience in Loan Origination, Mortgage Lending, and Loans processes
Understanding of the Underwriting process and its related requirements
Strong knowledge of Finance principles and practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using loan origination software and related technology
