Responsibilities
Analyze large and complex data sets to uncover insights and support decision-making
Partner with stakeholders to define analytical needs and deliver actionable solutions
Develop and maintain data models to support advanced analytics initiatives, AI/ML, Generative AI, and predictive analytics
Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI
Present findings in a clear, concise manner tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
Support data storytelling through compelling visualizations that communicate trends and patterns
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks
Work with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) to support data integrity and consistency
Use data governance software and best practices to ensure data quality, lineage, and integrity across the lifecycle
Leverage AWS Cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda) for data processing, storage, and retrieval
Ability to guide and support cloud modernization of data processes
Use the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, to automate workflows and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
Clearly articulate analytical concepts and results to a wide range of audiences
Contribute to client-facing presentations and written reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States
6+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, data analysis, visualization, and reporting
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports
Experience creating automated data workflows, analytics processes, and processing pipelines using Python, Power Automate, and SQL
Advanced knowledge of data visualization and reporting using a variety of software and tools
Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments and services for data processing and storage
Familiarity with Collibra Data Governance
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Existing and active DHS EOD/clearance
Must have an active DoD Top Secret or DHS Clearance
Preferred
Master's Degree in Technology, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline
