Responsibilities
Responsible for Epic Inpatient and an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), surgical and anesthesia application(s)/module(s)
Collaborate with and provide support to their counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications
Effectively manage competing and changing priorities
Develop, document, and adhere to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems
Interact professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking proficiencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated troubleshooting competencies
Excellent organizational management skills
Project Management skills
Bachelor's degree (4 years of comparable experience may be substituted for a degree)
A minimum of three 3- years of directly related Epic experience including in-depth knowledge of software development/build lifecycles
Epic certification for assigned modules are required within eighteen (18) months of hire
Epic certification must be maintained per Epic Corporation standards
Preferred
OpTime/Anesthesia experience preferred
